This is probably one of the better Haruhi cosplays I have seen, but.. but the cosplayer looks absolutely like someone we know from our class. WHY?!

Below then, I have doctored an image to contain the cosplay picture and a similar haruhi picture (It’s a fanart. Can’t find an original one which is similar.) for comparision purposes.

Training

Thursday, August 17th, 2006

Having stopped training for some time, I decided to go back about doing it again.

Here’s what I have done for today:

30 Push-ups

40 Sit-ups

20 Bench Dips

And with this I’m kinda at my limit (Stupid phlegm crawling out). Damn.

Jogging/Running will have to wait till my exams are over (next wed) and also when I have recovered from my flu (Likely an infection). I do not want to be coughing and getting sick again.

Biking/Cycling will have to wait till I get a new bike. The current, which has served me loyally for 6 years, has crapped out.

I do need to start on pull ups as well. I can barely do one.

For people who are lazy to click on the 404 link :)

————————————————–

Finally. A theme I’m satisfied with.

‘Nozomi’ is a heavily editted Juicy < Link> theme, simplified lite edition.

This new theme is so much better compared to ‘Winny’

I have also deactivated the Theme switcher.

How does everyone think about this theme?

Japanese Lunch Again

Wednesday, August 16th, 2006

Japanese Lunch again. I’ll probably go for this one as well (Depending if I still have that flu and mild fever I have had for the past 1 week). I reckon that there would be a lot more students this time. This week’s exam week (Mine starts on Saturday). I’ll have to ask the rest if they’re going.

That Unpainted Canvas

Tuesday, August 15th, 2006

I came to realize the depict significiance of the such that we are learning now.
It was something exclusively simple, yet I couldn’t recognize it’s form only till then.
It came like a overcast sky, with the threatening clouds ready to attack. This continued till the limit of those clouds, before it came down in the form of a thousand droplets of tiny spectacular molecules known as rain.
With each drop that hit, my eyes began to come into recognition of my surroundings. The mist was now cleared.
I spreaded my wings till its very tip…..and took flight.

Photography - Time stored in 2D frame

Monday, August 14th, 2006

I like stopping time in the 2-Dimensional frame - Taking photos.

Anyway, the 2 images below are of Nao from Mabinogi.

I’m still new to this digital photography stuff. Above picture(s) not that well taken due to the distracting background (Books, Soft toys).

My current camera is a Canon DIGITAL IXUS v3 < Link>. It’s a hand-me-down from my sister last dec. The CCD sensor started screwing up recently (Purple overlay on images). But that’s not the point anyway.

Below, I googled some guides/tips/hints on photography taking. I believe that to ‘master’ the art of taking great photos, you got to know your camera well. Of course other factors such as lighting, timing matters. But there’s always ways around those. Read the manual that came with your camera, or the online manual(s) found in your camera’s ‘brand’ site.
