Besides Ignis the delicious hawt (hot) PVC, this year’s Wonder Festival (Summer) attendees might want to grab C.C (Code Geass) resin kit as well. Hatsumi of the sculpting circle 83℃ has posted on his blog that his kit has been given the green light to be sold at Wonder Festival 2007 (Summer).

That’s a very nice figure of C.C. If only they had picture of her from the front, we probably get a chance to see her eyes :O Do prefer C.C to be in a more sexy position though.

I don’t know much about the figure scene in Japan but from what Shingo of Heisei Democracy had posted over at the blog.

[...] Unlike doujin events where the burden of copyright enforcement falls on the copyright holder, events such as Wonder Festival and World Hobby Festival operate under a “one day limited license system” where as part of the application process the event organizer contacts the copyright holders directly to secure permission on behalf of the applying circle. [...]

It seems like there’s a need to apply for a one-day limited license in order to sell self-sculpted figures of anime/manga characters. It was also mentioned that Bandai is notorious for declining requests, especially for those relating to Gundam mechandise (one of their flagships after all). But with the announcement of C.C allowed, I think there will be more to come in the future.

Anyway, do look forward to colored kits of that C.C figure ^^; (If they are any)
