Would like to first wish all readers a "Happy Valentine’s Day!" for those who celebrate it.

For those who don’t, well "Happy Friendship Day" then, but I think most of you guys have dates with your cutesy 2D/3D girls ^^;

It’s probably the first time moeside is celebrating Valentine’s day. What will you be doing on that day then?

For me, it’s will be a usual day in the office, but instead of going home after work, there’s a little twist. This year, I managed to get a date for Valentine’s :) Instead of the usual IRC hangouts, I have decided that I should change for the better this year. Will let you guys know how the date went (hopefully) ^^;

For those who were wondering why the lack of posts the past few days, have to first say that I was experiencing the worst time of my life as I was feeling very depressed then. Would like to talk about it but it’s a different story – don’t want to spoil the mood for valentine’s ^^;

Passion – Eminence Concert

It has probably been a long time since I’ve been to a concert, or one that would interest me. The concert entitled ‘Passion’ by Eminence was awesome. The aura and emotions that surrounded the musicians and flowed through the concert hall seemed endless. I felt captured in their web of music. I was there with my friend, Chong. We met up

Familiar Game and Anime soundtracks was played and 2 classical pieces were snuck in as well. I’ll bring up scans of the booklet in a while. The orchestra’s vision is to ‘inject something bold, dynamic and fresh into classical music’ and of which, to break the barriers between the audience and the musicians, and to revive orchestra in today’s society; particularly amongst youth.

The concert also featured music from games including Chrono Cross, Xenosaga, Super Mario Bros etc. Anime pieces selected come from Laputa: Castle in the sky ,Haibane Renmei, Tsubasa Chronicle and .hack//Liminality.

Now, the instruments and their people playing it. Ayako Ishikawa (she’s really beautiful) and Hiroaki Yura (the founder of Eminence) on the violin. Natalia Raspopova (She’s plays the piano really really well!) on the piano, Joshua Hill on percussion and Zane Banks (He’s only 20!) on the guitar. Yasunori Mitsuda as the special guest of honor playing the Irish Bouzouki <Link>. It was also Mr Yasunori Mitsuda’s first time in Singapore. He said that he had always wanted to take a look at the Merlion :)

Random-ness

Drops of sweat fell onto the ugly mixture of asphalt. Each step seemed like a mile too far away. The sudden increase of CO2 particles from the south began trapping more heat. The sea of faces seen from afar was the same – long, boring and tired. Many quickly sheltered away from the sweltering weather. I did the same too, and headed towards the only air conditioned place which was nearby… the library.

It was quiet, due to it being only the first week of school. The usual nerds were probably still having their lessons. I quickly ushered to my common place. On my right. 2 were on their chat client whlist another was fast asleep. On my left were a couple, doing their PDA in a corner.
