Chu x Chu Idol – Astram

IMG_0012

“Bet you’re looking at those!” said Astram with a vampire-y smile, playing around in the field of sunflowers, with clothes that barely offered any form of decent protection from the lecherous eyes of males & females.

I realized that Astram was not any normal vampire that shuns away from the sunlight like those from the folklore. She was indeed the opposite of what a vampire would have been, looking pretty, with nice curves and ironically, an idol too!

“Hey! Take more pictures of me.” Astram asked.

Review of Astram (Chu x Chu Idol) from Good Smile Company

What a real cute and very revealing figure! Good Smile Company pushes the limits by finding new ways of milking more cash out of otakus (in a good sense) by dressing it with very little cloth, revealing Astram’s ‘eyes’ once her top’s removed.

The sculpt for this figure is absolutely fantastic, and not forgetting the awesome paint job as well. Really nice colors used there. However, Astram stands on a one plastic peg base, which supports the weight of the entire figure. Using too much force might break it’s leg, or even bend the figure to a side.

The base is also a new as it doesn’t use a basic flat color base that comes with the other figures. Instead, the wings of a bat extends out from the side of the circular base, and the catch phrase of the game “The Idol is a Vampire?!” around the circumference of the base.

This is sure a gorgeous (the word is weak though haha) figure, but somehow I prefer the fusion version Chua Churam from ALTER.
That bat is funny, but I am not really into this semi-transparent clothes. She looks better without ^^

    Love vampire girls :3

And beautiful pictures, with warm (or should I say hot? ^^) colors.
