My Desk

moe 28081 sample
Just need one of these girlies on me bed ^^

And I am finally back from the land of the kawaii… to the land of the non-kawaii and reality and to the army in 2 weeks time T A T. Have not been posting in a while (yes I know ^^;) as I have been busy working on the site theme.

Didn’t want to have a half-assed theme like the previous one so am taking some time to work on it.

And yes, today we’ll have a look at my desk, from which I spend most of my time at.

I usually spend a good 5 - 6 hours a day at my desk, looking at images 2D and 3D girls, coding and viewing ‘latest’ open source movies (This is inclusive of the time going to the washroom, kitchen to grab a cup of water and maintaining health).

Will get to posting the pictures of those girlies some day ^^

Quite a bit has changed since I last posted a post on my room last year. Have decided to place a couple of figures and neodoroid at my table which helps me in my thinking, especially when playing with Chua Churam’s eyes ^^;

Using the dual monitor layout here, with the macbook pro being my main machine, and with the 22″ monitor connected to it. Very useful when viewing hi-res photos and 2D girls.

Got the Apple Wireless Keyboard to replace my Saitek Eclipse II keyboard which was taking a huge chunk of the desk space. Also prepped an old tablet which I use while I am photoshopping images. Red packets there contain apple cookies which were a present from bangin while I was in Tokyo for holiday. Lovely stuff ^^

And above is of my desk taken one year ago… which was so plain and boring compared to now.

Do you change the top layout of your desk often? Have any figures or anime related stuff on it?

    My current desk layout pretty much similar to your old layout but messy.
    Am planning to stop using my desktop pc then link up the monitor to my lappy… Used to have figures around my desk but then returned it to the display cabinet…

  2. Panther Says:

    Nope, no change, but yeah my figures are next to it in my display cabinet and some of them are on it. Probably be adding more figures soon.

    That wireless key board is really enticing. :]

  4. Danny Choo Says:

    Nice set up.
    Do you need the router on the desktop?

  5. Zeroblade Says:

    Ooh, a Graphire. I used to have one, albeit borrowed, but then my aunt graced me with a nice 6×11 Intuos3 and that’s what I’ve been using for my tablet needs ever since. Awesome wireless keyboard too by the way - I’ve always wondered if that would work with a Windows PC (and I would snap one up in an instant if it did).

    Nice desk, here I don’t have much room for big changes but I don’t mind that much. And figma Nagato always keeps me company when I’m working or just bored.

    wheres the tissue paper?

  8. Coco the Bean Says:

    Oooh that’s a nice looking tablet.
    I keep a few figures on my desk which I rotate every few weeks or so. The layout of my desk changes whether I want it to or not since papers and junk pile up. T_T

    Really nice desk!!!!!
    It looks so neat…mine is messy…
    I see a tablet…
    I’m still trying to get use to using one…

    @samejima: I didn’t like my previous layout as it was actually very messy with bits and pieces of wires hanging around and stuff.

    @Panther: I had ran out of space in my display cabinet ^^;

    @blauereiter: Do get one ^^

    @Danny Choo: I think I could place it where my subwoofer (under the table) is but I am not too sure if the phone wire that runs from the adjacent room is long enough to reach there.

    @Zeroblade: The wireless keyboard does work with windows pc, but you’ll need to configure the layout and map the keys. Try this post for instructions: http://babyloncandle.blogspot.com/2007/12/wireless-apple-keyboard-on-vista.html

    @Deathy: Hehe ^^

    @tragic comedy: It’s tucked safely somewhere in the room!

    @Coco the Bean: I had lots of papers and junk pile up when I was still in school. Those nasty spaec-takers!

    @Rin: You should take a picture of your desk!

    I’m thinking of desktop makeovers, I want to be a specialist with comes to this, clean set-up of the desktop but I think the space above the ‘before picture’ is a lot more spacier than the ‘after picture’. Or it is just the picture itself?

  12. Leefe Says:

    My desktop setup is quite limited because of the length of cables here and there, which is also the reason why I can’t just bundle them up into a neat little corner ^^;

    I maneouvre my settings here and there now and then, sometimes moving my figures and accessories or just going to IKEA to get simple boxes to keep shit.

    Will do a post like that soon :D

    Just let me tell you you arent the only one who wants those girlies in your bed… LOL!!

    My desktop is just a plain space (just the computer and lots of papers around). I think I should give more anime things to it.
