One thing that puzzles me every time I visit Japan is a special ability that folks in Japan have mastered; the ability to sleep in public.
Though it is also somewhat common in Singapore as well, there isn’t seem to be as many compared to Japan. My guess is that people are afraid that their photos get taken and posted online onto the local forums, with quotes like “This person did not give up his/her seat up to the elderly person” etc. It’s very likely in Japan that when you visit Japan you can hardly miss these tired beings there.
This guy here was sleeping throughout the whole journey when I was travelling to Comiket. One thing that really baffles me is how the belongings of these tired beings don’t get ‘borrowed’ away.
I bet the guy really wants to cup a feel. Posted this on a previous post, asking you guys to caption it.
More of these photos available over at Kirainet and Dannychoo.com
Oh course, this would be much ideal for most ^^;
Yay! PS3 is out
In Tokyo, Japan :p

It kinda reminds me of this (see below)
Back when xbox360 was released.
There was a thread on it over at 2chan, but it seems to have been taken down :/
Danny over at Dannychoo.com <Link> had his PS3 confirmed, and will receive it later in the day.
The PlayStation 3 (Japanese: プレイステーション 3,, Pureisutēshon Surī?, trademarked PLAYSTATION 3,[4] abbreviated PS3) is Sony’s seventh generation era video game console, third in the PlayStation series. It is the successor to PlayStation and PlayStation 2 and will compete against Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii.

I remembered back in 2000, I was in Europe around the time PS2 was released over there. Game magazines were covering all about it. It was crazy. Now, it’s the PS3. I wonder in 5-7 years time, would I be able to line up for the PS4 haha :p
I’ll not get the PS3 till probably during national service, where we get paid each month. There usually bugs in the first few varients. It’s funny how sometimes I get things and not use it for it’s intended purpose, but to be awed by it’s awesome technology.
Now let’s just wait for Wii to be out :)
^ Which will you choose? Left or Right?
A little update, as I have been busy with the photo competition. It’s due next Wednesday!
I wrote a little while back on how I have not received my letter of enlistment for national service, and just 2 days after the post, the letter appeared in my mailbox.
Ah, sleeping in public. I do that too every so often on jeepneys. Trains, not so much, since there’s never any sitting room >_>
Damn you. Seeing these pics makes me sleepy.
Sleeping in Japan…
Surprisingly…I didn’t see any in Japan…Maybe it was just my bad luck or something…
@Zeroblade: Haha. Hmm… How about people sleeping while standing up?
@Adun: You are feeling sleepy….zzz
@Rin: Probably your bad luck. It’s really hard to miss it
lols I used to fall asleep on the trains in Seoul
My friends and I did that once– all of us. It took a while to backtrack LOL
Then perhaps I AM JAPANESE!
Haha. If you fall asleep in the New York subway, you will wake up in heaven.
@bellinissima: Man, that must have been quite an adventure. I wouldn’t dare to try that in Japan.
@bj0rN: You’re just a fake!
@The Sojourner: LOL! I have heard of that one
