Premium heart-shaped watermelon

From the weird happenings to the even weirder happenings and inventions, Japan has done it again with a heart shaped Watermelon, that’s right, a heart shaped watermelon!

The unusual fruit is the invention of Hiroichi Kimura, a farmer from Kumamoto, and his wife. The couple said they had tried for three years to create the perfectly heart-shaped fruit, which they say symbolizes their passion for farming and their affection for each other.

Makes a great mother’s day gift if you’re willing to fork out 15,750 yen ($160) for one. I would rather get normal watermelons and make them into heart-shape form than fork out that much.. maybe it’s for those with too much money to spend ^^;

And I have finally went to make a batch of name cards/business cards for myself in order to spread the idea of moe- I mean to reach out to a greater audience.

Those who follow my blog will remember seeing this picture; it’s one of the photos which I had submiited for the SYPA 08 competition (I didn’t win anything ^^;).

Only had the front of the card printed as I realize instead of having the receiver to turn to the underside of the card just to look at my contact details and stuff, why not just place it in the front, together with the photo. Don’t have a logo at the moment but will be working on that soon.

So why the whole idea of name cards/business cards?
