Found this Youtube video over at astrobunny’s site just the other day.
Apparently some guy in Japan has successfully re-created the OP sequence for K-ON! using just figmas, some scaled-down props and stop motion! Really really cool stuff.

Why F-ON!? Does is stand for fu- Oh wait. Never mind..
Respect for the guy, I won’t even bother to spent the time to create this. I like the name “F-ON”. Figure On on K-On is all you see. So I find the choice of the name great.
